so I was going to take DD to PA to see Thomas - https://www.strasburgrailroad.com/day-out-with-thomas.php but then realized that Thomas also comes to MD and since she won't know the PA one is better, I want to take her to Baltimore - https://www.borail.org/
has anyone been? any tips? we'd drive up early on Sat, stay the day and drive back that afernoon. We are about 1.5hrs away from Baltimore
Re: Thomas the Train
Oh, and I haven't been, but I've heard that tickets sell out fast. DS's birthday is April 30th, so it would be a perfect birthday...
ETA again:
Baltimore is an easy trip. We've been up to the aquarium several times.
this was the original plan but DS screams in the car and it would not make for a fun drive!
pls post after you come back and let me know how it is!
We went last year and will be going again this year and DD LOVED it! The B&O is a great museum especially if your kid is obessed with trains like mine is, she was in heaven!. There was plenty of actitivies for kids to do. The train ride was good, nothing special but again if you kid is obessed with trains they will love it.
I would bring my own food though. The food there was gross and expensive
thanks for the tip!
