Follicle Check Update

Hi girls , thanks for all the good luck wishes in my previous post, for all intents and purposes they worked !

I have two follicles on the left, apparently my 7.5 one from last week has grown to 17.5. And I have another one measuring 13.5

My right ovary apparently was lazy this time around and has no follicles. Well, useful ones anyway.

For the most part my stress level from this morning has gone down, if I take into consideration that "it only takes one" then I'm pretty lucky because I have two.

But there's a small part of me that worries, if this IUI doesn't work.. and the one after that doesn't work and I do end up having to do mIVF that I'll need mega meds to get the follicles necessary...

But that's totally putting the cart before the horse isn't it??

They'll be emailing me later to let me know when I should trigger and when IUI will take place.

 

Thanks again for all your support, it really makes this just that much more bearable to go through. HUGS for you all :)

    Glad all is well.

    I'm curious what mIVF is at NH, I thought it was all about low stim, minimal drugs, multiple ERs.

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    From the brief overview that I got at my first consult, mIVF is almost exactly as you descrbed. It's low stimulation/minimal drugs  in that they use Clomid and maybe 2-3 injections as opposed to high doses of daily injections . But I'd guess it depends on the woman and how she reacts to this stimulation..

    I'm not sure about the multiple ERs though...

    That sounds perfect for an IUI.  I know it's hard, but don't get ahead of yourself!  Focus on this cycle and know that it will be successful!
