We're switching to Group Health in April. Any recs for a pediatrician, primary care and/or girly bits doctor. And since we're new to this type of healthcare, any advice?

GH is awesome! LOVE it. T's pedi is Dr. Frolick he's amazing, he's been with him since he was born. His assistant is great as well. All the nurses are very welcoming and knowledgeable.
I can't speak for a primary care Dr, I have to use mine. Crazy I know, I haven't been sick enough to go to the Dr in YEARS! I didn't use an OBGYN at the GH clinic in Everett, I used the Everett Clinic inside the Women and Children Pavillion. You don't have to go to the GH facility a lot of the other clinics now accept group health, I think their coverage is great. We don't have it right now, but we have individual coverage for Tristen at this time that is through GH. When I had T I only paid $200 out of pocket from my first appt until I left the hospital.

Cambryn saw Dr Froelich too and I really like him! He was very personable and spent time getting to know us. I was very impressed!
As far as primary care, i like Dr. Christopher Covert-Bowlds at the Northshore branch.
Also, I have to say that their Urgent Care is amazing, especially the Bellevue location. DH had severe stomach pain recently and they had him checked in, x-ray and CT done and pain meds on board within 2 hours! That would have taken 10 in the ER! They transferred him next door to Overlake for a 2 day stay and emergency appendectomy and he was very well taken care of! And all of it only cost us $100 OOP. Again, VERY impressed!
I cannot recommend anyone in Everett but I can tell you everyone I have met with Group Health has been amazing. I second that their urgent care is awesome. We have had a few trips and the longest visit was 4 hours because we had to wait for an ultra sound tech. We also went with a family provider so all three of us have the same Dr and that Dr helpef deliver Carter.
For primary care for all three of us we see Dr. Sean McEleney. He's been great to all of us. He walked my husband through 2 infectious disease surgeries/recoveries. He saw our premie from the time he came out of the NICU at 5lbs and I see him for general health concerns. He does OB/GYN as well but I saw Jasmine Albrecht at Providence Pavillion because I was considered high risk for my pregnancy. She also accepts Group Health patients.
I can't say anything about the Everett branch, but I use GHC in Seattle. I love that there are minimal out of pocket expenses. I paid $0 for all of my prenatal visits and the birth. It was crazy because I would have gladly paid thousands for the wonderful experience I had. If you work in Seattle, or come down often, I suggest Dr. Flum for OB/GYN.
I miss GH!! Had it my entire life up till after first dd was born. It's so great you can take care of everything in one place! For OB, I used Jasmine Albrect like pp said (for second dd) and she is great too! I saw Dr. Brodsky w/ first pregnancy- though he's a general practicioner, he is good, but I don't know if I was as comfortable as I was with a woman to take care of those things.
