I'm on my second marriage, but it's to the same DH.
I'm nosy and bored at work. Can we hear the story?
We got married pretty young and got divorced less than 2 years later. There weren't major problems - we were just young and stupid and poor communicators. We had no kids or assets so the divorce was quick, cheap and painless. We wound up getting back together less than 6 months after our divorce was finalized but didn't really care about being married. We got married again when I was 7 months pregnant with DS because we figured it would make things easier to be married since we were having a child together. We've been together almost 10 years total so the several months we weren't together is just a little blip on the radar.
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless

Thanks for the story. I like that it has a happy ending
I got married when I was 23 to my first H. In hindsight, we never should have gotten married. He is a decent guy, but we just weren't right together. He bounced from job to job, always wanted to move to new places, etc. I am more stable, and was trying to build a future, whereas he was living in the moment, so to speak. After being together a total of five years (and being married for two of them), we got divorced amicably. We still have mutual friends, and still see each other on occassion. I met my current DH when we both worked together. We hung out as friends for about six months before we started dating. He was everything I was looking for, and seemed to want the same things in life as I did. We got married four years later, and DD was born two years after that last year. I couldn't be happier, and I am convinced that I am with the person I was meant to be with!
Both DH and I had been divorced before. Both of us got married too young and also, to the wrong people. We met on Chemistry.com. Our first date was so incredible, and we both knew we were "it" for each other. We got engaged after 5 months of dating, and were married a year after that. Now we are expecting DS#2! One of the best things I ever have done was get on that dating website!!!

I would love to hear the story as well... my brother and his wife seperated for a year, got back together and had a baby...

I met my DH on match.com over a year after I left my first H.
My first H didn't wait as long and got a girl PG before we were even divorced. Klassy guy, that one. LOL
