Truth Be Told!-Julian

After much thought and consideration, I believe we have decided on Julian as our little boy's name! Now for the middle name....husband thinks Julian Elias, I think maybe Julian Thomas or Julian Charles (DH's father's name).  Any other suggestions or are we okay with one of these?

I kind of like to honor someone so Charles works, but let me know what you think.  Also, our last name is three syllables kind of like Penderson.

    I love Julian! I think a family name such as Charles would be really nice as well :) Good job!

    I like Julian with any of the three choices, but my preference is Charles.

    Elias alone is my favorite of the three, but it repeats several sound from Julian (-lia-), so I don't think it sounds as strong as Charles or Thomas.

     You know-that's what I was thinking.  Not like 8 syllables isn't a lot, but I think with three for the first, middle and last might be a bit much!

    Thanks guys-I just really want to make sure we make the right choice!

    I love the name Julian! I think Charles and Thomas both sound nice as a middle name with it.

    Love the name Julian-  go with the family connection- I think middle names should have some meaning to you.

    I like Julian with all three options, but my vote would be for Julian Charles because I like that the middle name is a family name.

    Julian Charles is my favorite, even without the familiy connection.

    Julian Elias flows really well, and Julian Thomas is good too.

    You really can't go wrong here, but I think Julian Charles is the clear winner here.

    I adore the name Julian. And I like your reason for wanting to use Charles. The two names sound great together.

    A BIG thanks to everyone---it's nice to know we chose a good name!  In case any of you read this that posted, I wanted to fill you in about telling my mother. 

    How sad, I told her the name Julian and she said, "oh, that's neat.  Isn't that a girl's name?"  (Yeah, it's a girl's name, exactly why I just told you that we are naming our son that.)  Oh some people!  Kind of sad though.

     Thanks again for all the nice posts, at least I know DH and I are not on our own on this one!
