Update on crazy MIL post from yesterday

I know some of you said yesterday that you got a good laugh from the crazy things my MIL says/does so I figured I'd update you on her latest.  

She told me and DH we shouldn't get a 3d ultrasound because babies look like monsters in the womb and she didn't want me to see LO looking like a monster and be disappointed... lmao.... Seriously?

    Haha, this was true of me when I was born!  

    I do think that most of what your MIL said is crazy, but I've got to agree with her on this one.  3D ultrasound pictures creep me out.

    What is it with MILs?!  Mine saw the 12week 2D Ultrasound - it was a fuzzy profile and says "It's look just like DH - and I can TELL it's a boy!!"

    Give me a freakin' break.  It looks like a FETUS.  Your son/my DH does NOT look like a FETUS.  And you can't tell from a 12week fuzzy ultrasound picture if it's a boy or a girl.  *eye roll*  (and man did I hate when she gloated and it IS a boy...if SHE survives this pregnancy it will be a miracle.  I'm on the verge of killing her.)

    I think you should start a S***myMIL says on Twitter though - at least you'll have an outlet and provide laughter for people!

    lmao.. 12 weeks is way too early to be saying any of those things. I don't know why some MILs say some of this stuff. When mine saw the 20 week 2d ultrasound she yelled immediately at my FIL and said, "Oh my God she has your nose!!!! Look look look!!! She has his nose!! A nose just like her grandpa! How beautiful!" I know to some people this may not seem like a big deal but I thought it was just silly. It's a 2d ultrasound of a 10 oz baby... It's hard to tell whose nose she has. And for the record, it really did not look like my FIL's nose.

    I really hope her nose does not look like FILs now just because of that.
