Any LC recommendations for Potomac/Rockville area?

The post below about EPing reminded me that I need to try and find an awesome LC that would come to our house for DS#2.  I EPed for just over a year with DS1 and I want to do everything in my power to try and nurse DS2.  I had someone all set up in NC (we just moved here a few weeks ago) and would like to get something set up here.

I know there are LCs with the hospital and with pedi offices but that didn't cut it with DS1.  I think having someone willing to come to our house and spend more time with me would be really helpful.  And maybe I'll be lucky and DS2 will be full term and we won't have the same BFing issues.

Thanks ladies!

Kim

I went to her house (in Bethesda/Rockville area) - but, she may travel.  Not sure.

  • Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington.  My LC came out two or three times and I have called her more times than I can remember.  Home visits have a charge, but phone calls are free.  Plus, they have all kinds of classes at the Center.  I haven't been to any, but they seem interesting.
