Baby update...

So I did make it to the hospital in time for rounds. I am for sure going to make that a habit. Blake's condition is not anything serious. The bloodwork was boarderline so they want to be sure they are being proactive. No more green tummy gunk, and they went ahead and increased his feeds. The doctor wants to take him back off the vent by tomorrow morning...

Which btw is when they also plan to take Addison off her vent as well. The doctor was going to take her off the vent today, but the nurse practitioner requested that he do it early in the day so he can be there to watch over and possibly re intubate if needed (they had a hard time getting her intubated at delivery.) So as excited I am for her progess I HOPE that if she does need to go back on the vent they are able to get her taken care of. They are going to increase their feeds tomorrow.

Aw...what great pictures! They bring back memories, for sure!

I'm glad progress is being made! (I didn't see your other update, but I'm glad Blake is ok) Good luck with both extubations! Very exciting!

Glad that it was a good day- sounds like they're both fighting like champs. Also, it's good to hear you have good nurses there looking out for them and their best interests- it makes a HUGE difference!
