Skin irritation question

Recently, I switched detergents (I normally use ALL FREE & CLEAR) to Costco brand FREE & CLEAR and noticed that Jackson's skin has become a little irritated; rash all over his torso.

Has anyone else noticed this when switching detergents?  What did the rash look like?

Re: Skin irritation question

  • We use ALL too, and its the only thing that doesnt flare up my kids' eczema (that I can afford, lol) . Eva gets a really bad diaper rash when we switch brands.

Their rash looks splotchy and crusty (eczema), but I've also seen skin irritated rashes that look like tons of tiny red dots. Eva gets that on her face and neck if she gets something rubbing on there too much. Poor sensitive skin!

  • I can tell you that I react to certain soaps and shampoos [Herbal Essences is the worst] and I get tiny red bumps all over.  DH gets the same thing from certain chemicals on his sensitive skin - just tiny red bumps that don't scab or whitehead and sometimes don't even itch.

K has a little rash on her cheeks but I don't know what's causing it or if it's just baby acne or eczema showing up.
