Baby Names

Middle name for Juno?

We've picked a first name.. Juno. This is an important name to us for multiple reasons, so we're not changing it. I only say that because I know some responses on this board are "Well, JUNO isn't a good name so here are some suggestions for similar but better names."

That said, we are having trouble coming up with middle names that go with it. Our last name is one syllable and starts with a B if that matters.

Any ideas? Since Juno is fairly short, and so is our last name, we were thinking of something longer. And more feminine.. But all ideas are game.

Edit: Girl #1 is named Penelope Jane.

Thanks!

  • I just wanted to say I really like Juno. I am also completely in love with the name Juniper, but it was a no-go :(

Personally, one of the first names that popped up in my head when I read Juno, was: Adele. I think it sounds really pretty :)

I also like: Rosalie, Fiona, Miranda, Calista, Aurora, Amelie, Linnea

  • Spookster's response was the best, IMHO.

Juno Valentina is adorable!!  I can't top that, but I wanted to give her kudos!

Get it?  Juno Itstru!  You can sing that Milli Vanilli song to her every night before bedtime. hahahahahaha.

Actually I love the name Juno.  But why worry about a middle name? Unless you're trying to honor a family member or something, middle names serve no purpose.  I don't have one.  My husband doesn't have one either.

  • 2 syllable first name, 1 syllable last name. I'd lean towards 3-4 syllables for the middle, something that doesn't start with an O (so Olivia is out). Something feminine, for sure. I think something else quirky, like Allegra or Ariadne could work. But if you want something more mainstream with an unusual first name, I'd lean towards something like Alexandra, Margaret, Catherine, Abigail, Elizabeth.
