Pediatrician Recommendation?

Who would you recommend for a pediatrician? 

I'm due in a few weeks, and would like to figure out who will be my baby's pediatrician. Right now I"m seeing a Family Practice Dr, but would prefer someone who specializes in pediatrics once the baby is born. I live in Circle Pines/Lino Lakes. Willing to drive 15/20 minutes.

    Hey! I'm from Lino Lakes! :) Originally...but I live in St Paul.

    If I could 'stretch' your 15-20 mins to 25...I recommend Central Pediatrics in Falcon Heights (corner of Larpenteur and Snelling Avenue). I asked this exact question before my son was born (late January)..and I went based on their recommendations here on this board. THE WOMEN WERE AWESOME.

    Central Peds (specifically Dr. Jaeger-she too on recommendation) is just great! She's warm, straight to the point, studied at Yale and just an informed and fun/interesting woman!

    But more than that - Central Peds can serve your child's needs, and best of all? They are open later in the evenings (til late) AND on weekends including Sundays so your child can always be seen by a certified pediatrician at the same clinic you'd normally bring s(he) too...all in one stop....the evening/weekend is called Priority Pediatrics...

     Check them out online..I don't think you'd be disappointed...

    We love Dr McCabe at Northern Lights. They have an office in Hugo and Vadnais Heights
