Team BLUE! Maverick Emery was born Feb. 24th 2011 at 12:55pm via c-section. He weighed 6 pounds 9.5 ounces and was 19 ? inches. Maverick had to come out due to hypertension and my cervix was unfavorable for induction?I found out during the c-section that I wouldn?t have been able to have a vaginal deliver due to a disproportionate pelvis (I had no clue). C-section recover has been fantastic?a few aches and pains but nothing unbearable. We are so blessed and are love with our little man! He breastfeeds like a champ, hardly every cries, sleeps really well and my dog is fantastic with him! I wish the rest of you all the best with your deliveries! There is nothing in the world like being a mom! ![]()
