Team Green is now...(PsIP)

Team BLUE!  Maverick Emery was born Feb. 24th 2011 at 12:55pm via c-section.  He weighed 6 pounds 9.5 ounces and was 19 ? inches.  Maverick had to come out due to hypertension and my cervix was unfavorable for induction?I found out during the c-section that I wouldn?t have been able to have a vaginal deliver due to a disproportionate pelvis (I had no clue).  C-section recover has been fantastic?a few aches and pains but nothing unbearable.  We are so blessed and are love with our little man!  He breastfeeds like a champ, hardly every cries, sleeps really well and my dog is fantastic with him!  I wish the rest of you all the best with your deliveries!  There is nothing in the world like being a mom! Big Smile

    P.S.  My labor buddy and I had our babies the same day!  She wasn't due until March 15th.

    Congrats!! I may be in your boat bc of PIH and no progress yet to make induction go well, but sounds like it worked out well for you. Enjoy your new DS : )

    Yay! Glad everything is going well for you! :) Everything is still going well for me as well. I need to get pictures of Coraline on here now! Still can't believe we went the same day, I had mine less than 4 hours after you had yours! Our bodies were kind of the opposite, your cervix wasn't favorable and all that, and mine hardly waited for me to get to the hospital! haha Hope things keep going well for you. :)

    My husband and I always said we wouldn't want to know the sex...after this experience, I would remain team green for all my pregnancies.  It was an amazing surprise!
