LO who refuses to be put down

Am I alone here? S refuses to be put down unless he is already asleep. Any pointerrs ladies? help!!

My LO really likes her pacifier and sound machine. If I put her down and she fusses, sometimes the pacifer will settle her down so that she can fall asleep. If she is really cranky, sometimes I rock her until she is drowsy but not quite asleep, then put her down. Have you tried swaddling? DD hates having her arms swaddled, but I try to swaddle the rest of her a little bit.

My LO doesn't like me to put him down period. He mainly sleeps now at night when DH gets him to sleep. I can never put him down in the pnp when he is awake he just balls, thenwhen I get him to sleep and puts him down when he sneses he is no longer in my arms he wakes up within 10 minutes, This has been going on for about a week now and it is really frustratingm he only seems to sleep in my arms. Only the two of us are here during the day , so I either have to end up spending most of my day holding him or laying down nursing him, or endure his screaming while I bathe or eat. Haven;t been able to do much around the house. It is so frustrating I am at my wit's end.

This is kind of what it is like for me except once I do get him to sleepp he usually will stay down for a bit. He has to be swaddled at night for sure but I too am having a hard time getting things accomplished...all I can say is that w/o a baby bjorn I'd get nothing done! hope it gets better for you.

My LO is 11 weeks and still needs to be entertained every minute :O) I hear this is pretty common for babies. I don't even try to do anything around the house unless DH is home or my parents are over to help entertain LO. Between working full time and taking care of the baby...housework is way down on my list of things to do :O)
