Todays not so great pedi appt .....XP

We just got back from K's appt. He doesnt have thrush - thank god. He has a umbilical hernia, which I had already figured out about a week ago. He also has reflux, but I dont want to put him on any meds yet. 

Then the pedi discovered that he has two holes on his penis. UMM say what! One is a lot smaller than the other and I had noticed it but I thought since they didnt say anything about it at the hospital when he was born- there wasnt anything to worry about.

The pedi had never seen something like it before and went and got 3 other doctors. One of the drs mention that it was most likely hypospadias.  We now have an appt with an urologist tomorrow morning to find out what is going on. 

I really hope he doesnt have to have surgery. 

But in good news he is 10lbs and 15.5oz and 21.75 inches long!!

    My little brother had this problem. Luckily his urethra only lead to the one hole, and the 2nd one (which was off to the side) eventually closed up. My mom did constantly put a little tube into the main hole however to make sure it stayed open, and urethra stayed attached. Hopefully things will go well with the urologist and he wont need surgery.

    Holes in his penis!! Poor little guy. I've never heard of that. I hope there's no surgery in his future.
