PCP reco's?

I'm trying really hard to check some items off my gigantic to do list this month... One of which is to find a doctor for myself. 

I used to have a doctor I loved but when I was newly pregnant with Henry her office stopped taking private insurance and switched to medicaid only.  I didn't worry about it much because I had my ob if I got sick. 

So, here I am 2+ years later, still with no primary doc!  I've gone to the Little Clinic a few times but, I'd really like to find a doctor to keep and see long term...

I'm pretty open to locations.. anything in NKY or on the other side of the river is fine too. Probably wouldn't want to go any further north than Kenwood though.

I don't have a preference male or female... doesn't matter.  I do need a doctor who is decent communicator and at least pretends to be interested in their patients.  I don't enjoy being talked 'at' or having to re-tell my entire medical history at every appointment because they've forgotten who I am and couldn't be bothered with looking at my chart before my appointment.

So, any recommendations?

    We go to Premier Family Medicine on Thomas More Pkwy which just joined Christ Hospital Medical Associates.  I believe they still have admitting privileges to St. E as well as Christ.  It's 2 female docs and 2 female ARNPs.

    I LOVE my Dr! Can't recommend her enough. She takes the time and answers any questions.. I never feel rushed.

    She's in Mariemont. A wee bit of a drive for me, but I don't go all that often so it's worth it to me to have a great provider.

    dr. susan abbott with gha in anderson... LOVE her.  She had only seen me two times before I went in pregnant... and when I went in sick while pregnant... she remembered we had been struggling with IF and congratulated me and gave me a hug.  with my first appt, I only went in with an issue with my ear... and she totally had gone over my whole file before that appt and brought up other concerns she had seen and spent like 45 mins with me.  She's a pediatrician too (I think she does peds a couple days a week, and adults the rest)... so we take our kids to her now as well.  Anyway, love her :P
