Yep, we have 11lbs but only 1.5" until we outgrow it. We are trying to make it to 1 year which is about the time we can afford to buy the next seat. We never take it out anymore, we just carry him or plop him into the stroller.
We switched to the convertible at 7 months. He was getting too big and while it was convenient if he was asleep, he was so heavy in that thing I could barely carry it so we left it in the car most of the time anyways.
It's a million times easier getting him in and out of the convertible seat while we're sitting in the car, he's much more accessible.

LO is still in his as well. We don't take it out of the car, and he still has about 4 more inches to grow before he hits the height limit. He has a convertable seat, but I have been lazy, and I haven't installed it yet.

Nope, we switched at 5 months. DD seemed pretty uncomfy. She's always been in 95% for height and she wouldn't fit in it now even if I wanted her to. Not to mention it was killing my arms and back. I did miss being able to use a sling in restaurants though with the infant carrier until DD learned to sit unassisted. We had to keep her in her stroller until then. She instantly was more comfortable in her conv. car seat when we did switch though.

Yes out of laziness lol. I leave it in the car anyway (unless she's sleeping) so there's no reason to not have a convertible other than she still fits in it so why bother lol. We have 3 inches and over 10 lbs to go
We made the switch at 10 months, not because she had outgrown it. She still fits we actually used it in DH's car this past weekend because he hasn't gotten a convertible yet and he forgot to get mine out of the car when he took it to the dealership for a repair.
From miscarriages, a diagnosis of a bicornuate uterus, and fibroid removal surgery...It's been quite the journey but it was all well worth it.
Yup he is still in it. He weighs 25 lbs and is 31 inches. He still has room to grown in there and I never take it out of the car unless he is sleeping. He is going to stay in there until he is too big for it.

DS is 29 lbs.... there is no way I could carry him AND an infant carrier.
We stopped using it at 4 months.
