I am struggling with finding classes to sign up for with either my 3 year old or my 10 month old on Saturday mornings besides swimming. I wanted to find something for my 3 year old- sports or karate but it seems like everything for that age group is during the week while I am working and he is in day care. Then the little Mommy and me music classes for my 10 month old are week days classes too. Anybody have any luck?
Re: Do you find it hard to find kid classes on Saturdays?
I work odd shifts and am able to do during the week and I still found it hard to find classes for my ds when he was 8m/o (when we first moved here). many programs were for kids ages 3 and up. gymbo and the little gym were booked. blah.
for the 3y/o.... we have a lot offered on w/es but they fill up quick. I've heard people register for soccer a year in advance. there's gymnastics (not gymbo, but actual gymnastics/tumbling competitive gyms), dance, and ice skating starts around age 3 or 4 here. check the local children's museum for art classes. they are out there, they just fill up. but if I'm off on the weekend, I'd rather have that time for the 4 of us. but we rarely have weekends off together.

Check for a Gymboree in your area. Ours has lots of Saturday classes.
THIS... I have to drive 40 min way to get to a Gymboree that has saturday classes.
