lightning........butt?

I know I've experienced lightning crotch before but this would deffinately be a first. All day I've had random sharp pains that are almost exactly like the pain you get from lightning crotch except these are in my butt! & holy mol they hurt! Anyone else getting this? Tomorrows my due date so hopefully this means baby might be planning his entrance?

Yea, I've had it a few times the last few days. I think it's cause the baby is head down and pushing on the poop tubing! lol

Um definitely have not experienced this myself. However, when I was watching One Born Every Minute one of the ladies mentioned that her contractions were in her butt. Not her stomach or back. It could mean something exciting is on it's way!

I hate Lightening butt! I have definitely felt it also. I agree with PP that it may be caused by the position of the baby.

dude, it totally sucks and always happens at the worst times!! ughh, no lightning crotch yet though, so I'm thankful for that!

Yeah I have experienced lightning butt, not lightning crotch. Though I am sure its only a matter of time. But it truly makes sitting uncomfortable no matter what position you are in!
