Is there anyone having a boy and their heart rate is in the 160's?

I know that heart rate has nothing to do with the sex of the baby but this annoying girl I know insists it does. She says a heart rate in the 160's always means its a girl. So I just wanted some examples of boys in the 160's to prove this girl wrong!

Mine is usually in the high 150's and has been in the 160's. Tell your friend to google it and she'll see there is no evidence to back her up. Just an old wives tale.

My baby's heart rate is always in the upper 150's to lower 160's. Always. She needs to look that up because even doctor's tell you NOT to believe that. I didn't believe that for a second.

My little boy's is usually high 150 to low 160, she's so wrong. My daughter had a low heart beat so they assumed it was a boy by that even up to delivery. Everyone was shocked. You can't go by that.

DS had a heartrate of 160-165 through the entire pregnancy last time. Some very annoying people kept INSISTING girl even though we didn't find out. So proof from here that high heart rate did not equal a baby girl! This child is all over the place so who the heck knows this time aound.

I told her that my doctor said this was wrong and she said "Well shes wrong because both of my girls were in the 160's so it is right" Didnt realize she had a medical degree and knew everything!

Our latest measurement for our baby boy was 158 but it has been a little higher in the past...so it's possible!

Mine has been in the 150's and 160's and he's a boy!! When we first saw it at 6 weeks it was in the high 170's.

All three of my kids haven't gotten out of the 130's! That will silence her. I have one boy, one girl and we don't know what we're having yet this time around. DD peaked the highest and she was 137 so this OWT is totally false.

I'm having a boy and at 11 weeks it was a 160 heartbeat, at 15 weeks - 142.

my little boy has ranged anywhere from 150 to 175 (at one 175 the midwife was telling him to calm down! She had just been poking around at my belly and he didn't like that :P).

Yep, my boy's HR was in the 150s and 160s until just the last few weeks. It's my understanding that what people don't realize about the HR predicting gender is that it's the HR during labor/birth, not during pregnancy.

LOL! My mom said it was a girl when we told her the heart rate was 160....and so did everyone else! Everyone we knew except for my aunt thought we were having a girl, so naturally, we are having a boy!

My son's was 160-172 most of the time. My daughter's was lower 145-160 range. This new baby was 170, I will be shoccked if its not another boy, since I was right with the last 2.
