So...I was not sad about having to do an RCS last time...

but now that I have my hopes up for a VBAC and it's looking pretty grim to even get to try I'm getting pretty frustrated with my body. :(

I want to at least TRY to have regular delivery...if it ends in CS ok, but I want a shot. 

I have my 41 week checkup/NST today. Please think happy cervix thoughts or it's RCS for me no later than Friday.  

I never had any real regrets with my prior two deliveries...I'm afraid now I've been wanting the VBAC so bad it will not be pretty if we do the RCS. :(

I could use a pep talk, sorry ladies. I'm kind of a mess today.

    Good luck!  Plenty of ladies have had VBACs at 41+ weeks, so try not to feel too discouraged.

    What do you mean by "happy cervix thoughts or it's RCS on Friday."  Does that mean they would be willing to let you go longer if your cervix is showing progress?  Or that they would try an induction if your cervix is favorable?  I'm not quite clear on how your pre-labor cervical progress would affect the timing of a c/s.

    I was only a fingertip dilated on Friday. He won't induce me from that closed. If I'm 2 cm today I might be able to talk him into a Foley Bulb induction. 

    Otherwise, they'll schedule the RCS for Friday and I'm down to the wire on hoping I go into labor before then.

    Good luck.  Get out there and take a long walk, have some spicy dinner and emjoy the night with DH.  You still have time - keep your hopes up!

    So you'll be 41w3d?  Is there a reason you can't go until 42?  

    Have you tried any methods on your own like evening primrose oil or nipple stimulation?

    Get out that breastpump!!! And call that labor pizza place. I know it is a "wive's tale," but some women swear it worked. It is some place that I think can even "mail" you a pizza that is supposed to throw you into labor.
