I EP because of latch issues and have had the same problem with my DS. We started to supplement 1 oz of formula after each feeding. He is much more content now, which is nice because a screaming hungry baby is not pleasant. Since it seems that you are able to BF you should try pumping a little and you can supplement BM instead of formula.

content with a feeding? I guess it is hard to know what the problem is without more information, is baby nursing for long periods? crying when you put baby down? Is baby having an adequate diaper output?
When we were in the hospital after birth they supplemented her with formula because of jaundice, and told us to continue this for a week after. Now I think that is the problem.. So I think I may have to continue to supplement 1oz. I pump because she feed nonstop all day and neither of us get a break except for diapers.. And that makes an unhappy baby and momma, Also when I pump I get about 1 oz to 2 oz, depending on the time of day..
i had to supplement due to jaundice and my LO does not seem content either after BF'ing so i still give him 1 oz formula after BFing and i am OK with that!
i pump so little after BFing to try to supplement with that that honestly it is not worth it for me. i will never be able to do anything other than feed my baby which i know is my job right now but i would like to eat, shower, read a book for a break once in awhile as well.
like i said i supplement with an oz after BF'ing and he is much more content and i am happy with that.
do what works for you!

I pump and FF. He has issues latching and then when we do get him to latch he falls asleep and refuses to wake up and when I try he just bites my nipples. I pump but don't get enough to just bf him, so I have been supplementing with formula. We have a much happier baby now!
