No movement today....

I know it is still early but this week movement really started to pick up... now before I get a ton of "not so nice comments".... I am fully aware that sex cannot harm the baby... it is just odd that the for the first time in quite some time I agree to it and now today "Chipmunk" is extremely quite... cause for concern? I am also "really dry" TMI and normally have quite a bit of discharge (TMI sorry)

    I wouldn't call. Regular movement isn't normal or even monitored until late into the 2nd tri/early 3rd tri. Most people don't even realize what is movement at 16 weeks.

    Drink a large glass of ice cold orange juice and lay down. Wait for movement. Works for me! I wouldnt call yet.

    i wouldnt call. you're only 16 weeks and movement wont be consistent yet. I've been feeling movement off and on for the past two weeks but its definitely not consistent yet. just try and relax. baby will be fine!

    Also, you're probably dry from all your activity last night. nothing out of the ordinary, i get that way sometimes too.

    I have been feeling movement off and on since 15 weeks, but it is not very regular. The other day, I didn't feel any! I was a little concerned, but as PP said, many do not even feel it this early at all.

    Your LO is probably moving around in there, but is just in a different position.

    I figured as much! These monthly appts. are killing me! I am almost there and have one a week from today. I just want to relax and enjoy but it is so hard... as you all know!

    Like the PP said not feeling the baby move everyday at this point is not a cause for concern. As for you feeling dry, with your changing hormone levels sperm can sometimes cause vaginal dryness. I get this also, it always clears up so no worries there either. Big Smile

    No I would not call.  I've been feeling baby for a few weeks and hardly noticed it over the weekend. It's still so small that it's totally normal not to notice regular movements.
