  If you're talking about a section, yes, it does go away.  It took it a lot longer the first time to go away.  I want to say maybe 8-10 months.  My second section it went away very quickly.

  Dang..I didn't know the numbness stays after pg.. i was hoping it would miraculously go away after birth, so dang it!!! Right now I get itches on my stomach but itching does no good since its numb. very ironic.

  I am 9 months PP and still have numbness in my lower stomach. I don't think it will ever go away.

  I still have a little numbness, but it's much better.  I hated the numbness while preggo!  Didn't have it with DD#1.

  same here, it's slowly getting better and I don't notice it as much anymore, but it is weird!
