  I'm feeling okay about my preparedness.  Nursery is now making some progress.  We have a name and are just deciding on the MN.  Reading up on different birthing options now.  I want to finish that book and read one more before baby gets here, so I guess I'm doing pretty good.

  QOTW - NBR:  What do you do for a living and do you like it?

  I am a CPA, currently working in a government budget office.  I like my career choice and my current job is pretty good.

  QOTW - BR:  How are you feeling about your preparedness for baby?  Nursery?  Name?  Birth Plan?  Tell us how it is all coming together.

  Feeling not very prepared at the moment to be honest.  We just picked up our nursery furniture yesterday but can't really do anything to set up until we figure out if we're moving.  We finished the last letter in our first go through of the baby name book this weekend, so now we have a long list of about 200 names that we'll start paring down next weekend.  The birth I feel pretty good about (although we haven't made a "written plan" yet...  Truthfully I'm just overwhelmed trying to put together the registry...which I'm getting pressure from family to finish up asap.  Finished making the baby book this weekend.  Now onto the quilt.

  QOTW - NBR:  What do you do for a living and do you like it? 

  I am a Property Manager for a real estate development and management company, and I also handle the marketing for our portfolio of sites.  I have been doing this for 2 years now, coming from a real estate marketing background and hospitality, and it was a hard transition but I'm liking it now, and the company I work for is great.

  I was feeling pretty good about preparedness. We woke up to 7in of water in our finished basement/ laundry room today. Not the mess we needed to worry about right now. Lots of loss and damage, but we will make do.

  Luckily our nursery is pretty much done. Just some final decorating and putting stuff away after our shower. We have a first name (still working on middle)  and an idea about a birth plan. I have been told by my OB to not focus that much on a birth plan because they usually get thrown out the window. I know that myself and baby will be well taken care of at our hospital.  

  QOTW - NBR:  What do you do for a living and do you like it?

  I currently work as an assistant in a Neurosurgery/ Pain Mgmt clinic. I absolutely love the doctors I work for and enjoy going to work. I will be working from home part time once the baby arrives.

  Meh, I feel pretty good. The nursery is done besides hanging decorations and laundry. We've had a name picked out for a while now.. as for a birth plan, my DH and I have discussed the basics but I don't think we're going to have like an actual hard copy..

  I actually had my last day of work today. I am now a full time SAHM/wife.

  I feel prepared somewhat, we have all the essentails for the nursery but we need toclean out the room and paint but we had some water leak into the room with all the snow so we need to have it looked at and repaired first. We have a name picked out and  are deciding between a few MN. I don't have a birth plan, with DD I just went with what I needed at the time, when I needed the epi I got it and figure the Dr. has more experience and I let them take the lead.

  I'm a SAHM and I love it!

  I'm probably 50% done on the nursery. I'm one of those people who will probably NEVER be done, just because I'm indecisive.  Name has been decided on - James Frederick, and I don't really have a birth plan. I should probably think about that.
  

  QOTW - NBR:  What do you do for a living and do you like it?

  I'm an account manager for a tech/ cellular company. It would bore you to tell you all what I do, but I play with iPhones and BlackBerries all day for different companies. I like it, even though it gets stressful some days.

   We aren't too worried about being prepared for the baby, since this is will be our second take-home baby. Just need a crib and a few more diapers, and I think we'll be OK.
  

  QOTW - NBR:  What do you do for a living and do you like it?

  I manage the program for students who are learning English/ who are bilingual (Kindergarten-12th grade). I truly enjoy it!

  The name is the only thing we have. I've been starting to panic lately that our nursery is less than together. I was determined to complete a few projects this weekend, but DH and I had a major DIY fail. I'm hoping in a few weeks when my sister comes in town for my shower she'll help.

  I'm an account manager for a label printing company, but (shhh don't tell!) I plan to quit after the baby is born. The job is okay, but I know I was meant to be a SAHM.

  Updates: As if I'm not miserable enough, I now have hemorrhoids   You know, one of the few "joys" of pregnancy I hadn't experienced. I'm really going for the full enchilada here, got do it all, feel it all, etc. On the bright side, I got moved to a larger room (the largest on the floor, actually). It's bittersweet, because they usually reserve this room for ladies who'll be here a while. Sucks to have to stay, but if it means the boys will cook longer, I'm all for it! At this point, the boys are consistently acing their BPPs and NSTs (BPPs are done twice a week, NSTs daily). The doctors and nurses are saying that they probably won't need a ton of NICU time if born now, but I'm gonna try be darnedest to get them to go home as soon as possible (no matter how miserable I get in the process). Nothing too terribly exciting going on, but I'll let everyone know if that changes!

  QOTW-BR: How are you feeling about your preparedness for baby? Nursery? Name? Birth plan? Tell us how it is all coming together. I'm not feeling very prepared for the boys' arrival at all. We've decided on names (Jackson Edward and Ian Taylor) and as far as the birth plan goes, it's whatever the doctors say will ensure a safe delivery for myself and the boys (vaginal if both are head down, otherwise c-section, unless my health necessitates and emergency c-section). We have furniture for the nursery that's all set up and the nursery is painted. We have crib bedding, but no crib mattresses, so we can't put that on the bed. We have clothes for the boys (not much, but some) from various ages, including preemie clothes (although depending on how long I can keep the boys cooking, we may not need them). But most of the things we need we don't have. We have no bottles, no breast pump, no carseats...I'm starting to freak out because I have no idea how we're going to get the things we need before they arrive with me stuck in the hospital! My mom wants to have an open-house type shower at the hospital this coming Sunday (assuming I last that long), but I'm not sure how many people will really want to come to a shower in a hospital. Kind of depressing. I know, I'm being greedy and hoping that our family and friends will help us out (considering how much it's going to cost us for this hospital stay plus NICU time) and I know we'll figure things out if we don't get the help, but it would be really nice if we had some help!

  QOTW-NBR: What do you do for a living and do you like it? I work as a pharmacy intern for now and will be a pharmacist after I graduate and pass my boards. And I love my current (and future) job. Although for now, I'm not able to work and I'm not really sure when I'll be able to go back to work. I mean, between recovering from birth and NICU time and adjusting to babies at home, it might be awhile before I'll be able to work again.

   Not feeling terribly prepared to be honest.  We've got a name and some stuff from a little shower my students gave me.  And, yesterday, we finally got our crib.  It's out of the box and pieces are in the baby's room, but it freaked me out a little to have it in there.  Still planning on a trip to Ikea for the rest of the room stuff.  I know what I want in terms of birth plan, but haven't written anything down yet.
  

   

  QOTW - NBR:  What do you do for a living and do you like it?

  I was a high school theatre teacher until the end of the semester at the end of January.  We moved out of state and I'm now a sahm-in-training.  I wasn't happy about it for the first 2-3 weeks, but I'm getting used to it now and I've been super dizzy (like sit with your eyes closed and not leave the house dizzy) so I suspect I would have been the worst teacher ever at this point anyway....

  I'm feeling ok about things. The nursery is coming together well. I just finished making valances today, I'll make a crib skirt tomorrow. I still need to paint some trees on the wall, put up some art, and some things still need to be delivered, but I'm happy with the progress. First name is all set. Middle name is still a mystery! Birth plan is coming along. It's hard to have so much unknown though. I can only make a birth plan guess.
