This weekend was so busy! My in-laws came in from California for C's party. This was the first time they've met him. It was great to see them. The party was Saturday and yesterday was the clean up. My house looked like a tornado tore through. I can finally see my kitchen table again!!! With all of this going on, as suspected C was sick all freakin' weekend. Thankfully, he was in great spirits and it hasn't turned into anything more then a cold. Anyway, here we go:
SO's Dad meets C for the first time:
SO's Step-mom meets C for the first time:
The gift table. Our computer was running a 15 minute slide show of photos from the past year. I watched it for the first time last night because it makes me cry ![]()

The birthday banner. They are all baseballs if you can't tell.
My neice and nephew decorating bags, a craft project we had for the kids.
The cakes! Baseball cupcakes, a jersey cake and the smash cake my by my SIL.
C and I
C enjoying his cake!
Somehow SO had cake smashed in her face. That's one of my SIL's on the right.
After the party, C was exhausted. He passed out in his stroller while we cleaned up.
And the biggest news of all.... yesterday afternoon, while mommy and momma were watching, C took his first step!!!!! It was just one, but we were so proud ![]()
Re: C's First Birthday Party (Tons of PIP)
I made it! It was actually really easy. I can send you the file via email if you're interested. You'd just have to change the name to your LO's name obviously. PM me! I'll give you all the instructions.
Guests were asked to come wearing their favorite jersey (or T-shirt). One of my bestfriends came wearing a Yankee's T-shirt. He was terrified to take off his jacket. I was dying. I had no idea it was THAT big of a rivalry! I told him he was being crazy. Come to think of it... I don't think he ever took his jacket off hahahahaha!
OMG. I LOVE it! I cannot show this to DH or Cadie's tea party is out the window! We already have our guest room done completely in Phillies. My step-father hates staying over because he's a huge Yankees fan. Haha.
