Nanny Share - What is there to know?

Can anyone share advice on having a Nanny Share?

 What things shoudl I look out for etc? Avg price? Where did you find yours?

I noticed it is very much word of mouth, but if anyone has any suggestions or tips.

 I am looking in the Lakeview area for December 2011/January 2011

    I don't know much about this topic, but many people have recommended npnparents.org to find daycare and nanny share information and people to share with. There is a small fee to join, but there is a lot of other info on there too.

    I'm just beginning to look into this option as well. We are hoping to find someone to share beginning in October, possibly November 2011. Both npnparents.org and craigslist are good sources to find families and then word of mouth or npnparents.org seems to be the best for factually finding a nanny. From what I've heard the going rate is about $15/hr for 2 kids.

    I'll be interested to hear what you find out!
