BFing and deodorants

What deodorant do you use? Does it contain an antiperspirant? I am so hot and sweaty these days, I need something that works. However, I don't want to throw off DS with the scent or use something with a lot of chemical because it is so close to him.

I have tried Burt's Bees deodorant and it doesn't work well. I have also tried mineral based deodorants and they don't work either.

I use the strongest stuff I can find OTC - Lady Mitchum Gel. Yes, it has anti-perspirant and deodorant.

I use Secret Clinical Strength. Hormones have done something crazy to my body and it is the only thing that works. I didn't always need to wear deodorant before but now I sometimes use it twice a day!

I am in dental school, so people''s faces are routinely very close to my armpits. I use the strongest stuff I can find out of courtesy to my patients. I haven't noticed any problems with DS being thrown off by the scent and I have yet to have a patient complain that I smell. Win-win!

I don't use an anti-perspirant any more - just mineral deodorant. I'd rather be sweaty than have sketchy chemicals near baby (or on me for that matter once I started reading about them!).

I found that it took a while for my body to adjust to just using a mineral stick. No, it doesn't stop the sweat, but I really don't stink (and I'm a pretty sweaty mama in summer ;-)
