Dinner Ideas?

I'm in need of some easy dinner ideas with common ingredients.  Nothing sounds good to me right now so I'm looking for something new. Anyone have some simple dinner recipes?

Re: Dinner Ideas?

  • Some of my standbys are chicken fajitas, chicken soup in the crock pot, breakfast for dinner, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken alfredo, and tuna casserole. Lately we've been eating pre-made frozen family meals once a week or so on the nights when I just don't have the energy to cook a whole meal.

  • We are super simple dinner folks.  Some of my regular go-to's are stir fry (beef or chicken) with lots of veggies and brown rice, parmesan chicken or pork chops (dredge in butter then coat with a parm cheese and breadcrumb mixture and bake), baked chicken breasts with some sort of potato on the side, taco soup (ground beef or turkey, a ranch packet, a taco seasoning packet, chili beans, corn, kidney beans, can of crushed tomatoes),  flank steak with some sort of starch side (we use those box pasta mixes or just potatoes) I just read this recipe today and can't wait to try it - https://smittenkitchen.com/2011/02/spaghetti-with-lemon-and-olive-oil-al-limone/print/.  We also buy prepared stuff at Trader Joe's if you have one close.  We get the pork roast with bbq sauce and the organic sirloin roast.
