Lily (or Monterey) crib set from JC Penney

Does anyone have this set or any other from Bedford Baby (Westwood) line at JC Penney?  I want to order but am so nervous!  I'm confident in the brand and the reviews are great but I would love to hear what any of you have to say.  Also, the crib is 60x31x47.  60 inches wide seems so large to me for a crib but my research found many listed in the 54-61 inch range.  By getting a crib on the larger end of this spectrum, will it be more difficult to get a mattress that fits properly?

    We purchased the Monterey set in chocolate mist and Absolutely LOVE it!! The chocolate mist to me is more of a medium to dark cherry color which is what we wanted. The crib doesn't seem that big, but might measure larger because the wood seems thicker. We didn't have a problem finding a mattress. We just purchased today the Simmons slumber glow from BRU and it fits perfectly. I was impresses with the construction of the 5 drawer dresser and changing table. Both were made of solid wood. The only downfall was with the delivery company, which JcPenney contracts out to. I had to reschedule 4 different times because they couldn't seem to understand that my husband and I both work like lots of other people and a 10am delivery on a weekday wouldn't work. Not to mention the first Saturday they were suppose to deliver, the delivery man didn't show for work so we had to reschedule. Needless to say, they absolutely knew I was furious considering we ordered the furniture back in November and just got it at the beginning of this month.I contacted Penney's to let them know how dissatisfied I was and they credited us 100 bucks. Now that a wrote a novel(sorry about that) I would still order it again, because it's gorgeous. Good Luck.

    I got the monterey crib, dress and hutch and love them!  I also got the Colgate I Foam mattress and it fits perfectly.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

    We have the Monterey crib and 5-drawer dresser; we love them. I was very impressed by the quality and we have gotten a ton of complements on them. We did not have any problems with the mattress fitting. The one thing I did find is that the "ultimate sheet" doesn?t fit properly because the back of the crib is solid so it cannot snap all the way around.

     If you go with JC Penneys for your furniture I would recommend being patient if you are looking for a good deal. We purchased our set when it was on sale, added a 20% off coupon, used free ship to store and also used ebates to get an additional $43.00 back on our purchase. In the end we paid $715.00 with free shipping for a set that would have normally been $1178.00 plus another $300+ for shipping. I believe that JCP has a friends and family sell coming up that will offer an additional 20% off the current price.

    I am very curious. How did you use the free ship to store option? I have been looking at this crib set and the website, 1-800#, and customer service at the catalog desk have all told me this is not an option and that it has to be delivered to a home address. When did you make this purchase? Also, do you remember which 20% off coupon you used? Was it the friends and family discount? I would appreciate any additional info you could offer! Thanks and congratulations on the new baby!
