in the last 3 days at the new house. And I've hardly made it out of the basement!
The kids have wanted to spend the most time playing in the basement so that's where I've been focusing my attention. The dryer no longer smells like (well much like) fabric softener and the washing machine no longer smells like mildew although it does now smell a bit like dirty socks which I think the mildew smell was covering up. I've also gotten to sweep the entire floor (think I pulled up a cup and a half of dust and dirt) and today I mopped it with vinegar, hot water and little peppermint dr. B's. I had to empty the shallow sink I was using as a mop bucket 7 times I think. BUT now the kids socks won't be filthy anymore!
Re: Being a pw - Have gone through almost 2 gals of vinegar
I love vinegar.
Your washer sounds... lovely.
Yeah it was a compromise. We bought at the top of our budget so dh and I agreed that we'd use the full size front loading stackables that the seller left and buy new ones next year. We left our old ones for our renters and planned to buy new ones when we settled in. So I need to make the best of these for awhile. They're a fairly new set by the look of it so I think I'll be ok once I clean it out properly.
I hope.
It soooo does.
Post whore - like AW (attention whore) but more directly related to the fact that I was making multiple posts back to back.
