Re: constant runny nose...

  • I had a cold over a month ago, and I'm still dealing with the runny nose.  It's no fun, but it does appear to be getting somewhat better.  I agree that it's super annoying.
  • I've had a runny nose since day one...actually that ended up being one of my "tell-tale" symptoms of being pg. Pregnancy rhinitis!

It's a little worse this past week due to allergies...I can't wait to breath normally again!

Same here- it's called pregnancy rhinitis.  I think I read that about 20% of pregnant women get this symptom.  So far I am the only one is any of my childbirth classes who has it.  I've had the stuffy nose since week 13 or 14.  I thought it was allergies, but when it did not go away I realized it was pregnancy rhinitis.  It sucks and I am sorry  you are dealing with it.  The worst part if not being able to breathe out of your nose!  Especially when you practice your breathing for contractions.  Benedryl works for bedtime, but no other allergy meds have worked for me.  Good luck!

  • I have had a constant runny nose since the 1st trimester.  It is super annoying but unfortunately it is a symptom of pregnancy.

    Amen sista!

Yay for being part of the 20%, right? ;)

  • I didn't know that was a symptom of pregnancy, I just thought I have had allergies throughout my pregnancy.

It has gotten worse the past couple weeks, I can't wait for everything to just go back to normal.

  • I seem to be congested a lot at night, but I don't notice it much during the day.
