I survived a blizzard and flood in 3 days

How much crazier can Ohio's weather get?  Friday we rec'd 10 inches of snow.  It was awful.  Then last night the thunderstorms started, and boy did the rain come!  In a matter of hours the water was half way up our driveway.  Our entire street was flooded, and I've never seen it like this before!  The entire town was soaked and cars were floating everywhere.  At 4:25am the tornado warning sirens went off. 

So how in the world do we go from snow to this much rain?

Oh and I started having contractions last night.  Nice!  I baked cookies, finished up laundry, packed, and finally decided to try to sleep around 1am.  It's pretty much stopped now.  This afternoon I go in to my OB's to "loosen things up".  Makes me feel so pretty!  LOL

    I know - it's insane!!!!!  We only got 4 inches on Friday but last night's rain was scary.  We luckily are pretty high up so we are dry and safe but it was fun getting to work cause my normal roads are closed and flooded.   Watching the Columbus news this morning, they were saying for people to stay inside until daylight so they could see how deep the water was before venturing out.

    My Dr today was concerned cause i look exhausted.  I told her it was really hard to sleep wtih the storms last night.   We had hail from 3am to 5am just pelting the house.  Luckily no damage but seriously not what I normally expect in February.
