UTI?

Has anyone had a UTI ?? What were your symptoms if any..

I have a feeling I may have one.

Burning when peeing, stinky pee (not always a symptom), blood in urine (I typically call it "tequila sunrise pee" as that's really what it looks like when it's FMU), pain in your bladder, sometimes a fever.

- feeling like you have to pee all the time, even if you just peed

- pain when you are finishing a pee... like a burning ouch pain

- and smelly pee

---- if you think you might have one just go pee in a doctor's cup and let them check. I've had one of those things turn into a kidney infection and OMG, you do NOT want to go there.

I did not have cramping, only frequent urination and my pee smelled a little also. I took baby safe antibiotics for it for 5 days and it is now cleared.

I forgot the urinary frequency one! It also feels like you really have to pee and then when you do go, there's not much there.

That seems to be the only symptom I have.. is having to pee and when I go theres not much there. Or when i do finally go I have to go again.. Sound like I should call a dr?

My theory is when in doubt, call. I've had a uti, and it was painful. I felt like I always had to go, but when I went it burned. The LO might just be pressing on your bladder or something, but the doctor can tell with a simple urine test.

I would just call and get them to check your urine and maybe swab your vag too---I went in with what I thought was a UTI a few months ago (I had irritation right where the pee comes out, but not really any burning when I peed and of course the frequency) and ended up with BV-- treated it and doc said it is common (haven't had the easiest time getting rid of it but that is another story.) What I mean is, symptoms with a baby on your bladder and all this other stuff going on down there can be really hard to distinguish.

I'd call anyway. Sometimes my UTIs come on with just one symptom and by the next day there are many more. By the time they're full blown, they're pretty bad, so it's better to get it diagnosed early, if possible. It could also be where the baby is sitting that's causing your frequent peeing.
