Swelling feet...

Hello May mamas!! Just a quick question, any recomedations for shoes and feet swelling???

I am almost 29 weeks and I have a dr appt tom., but I am unable to wear anything by flip flops and some days this week it may only be in the 30's and 40's, so I need a suggestion!! :)

They hurt so bad, and just feel so tight!! :(

  • While not exactly the most stylish option, pick up some inexpensive clog style house shoes? They're usually pretty flexy, have a solid bottom and are warmer than anything else.

The other option might be to try picking up a cheap pair or two of flats in a size larger than you normally wear. I've known quite a few women who just run to payless or target and grab some 10-15 dollar slip ons one or two sizes larger and make those work

  • A friend of mine that was in 3rd tri during fall and winter swore by her knock-off Uggs in a bigger size.  Roomy, soft and warm.  I haven't gone that route yet, but I probably will if my feet get much bigger since it's cold and rainy here clear through May (or July).

  • Thanks ladies :) I have some UGGS that I wear but feet get hot at times, but I will def. find some cheap flats or clog style shoes :)
