I had it at the very end of my pregnancy. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with PUPPS - it was so uncomfortable on top of the general twin pregnancy discomfort! My OB did not prescribe steroids, she told me I could take a benadryl to help me sleep, use cortisone or lanacaine cream for the itching and to take (Aveeno) oatmeal baths. The baths actually did help - I would sit in the tub for 30 minutes at least once a day, then apply the lanacaine cream. I tried to save the benadryl for bedtime to help me sleep, but would take 1/2 a tablet during the day if I was really miserable. If the MFM prescribed steroids, I would trust that they know what they're doing and it should be okay. I hope you find some relief!
I had it at the end of my pregnancy and for a few weeks after I delivered. ?I didn't take anything for it except some benadryl after I delivered. ?It was agonizing! ?I constantly put lotion but that's about it.
ugh... I am so sorry, that was the worst part of my pregnancy. I was not allowed to take steroids... I had it for about 2 weeks then delivered then it slowly started to go away. Dh was constantly putting lotion on my legs as I could not reach them. Good luck
i had it at the end, omg it was miserable! it's why i begged to be delivered. and it didn't go away for at least a month after the birth. but yeah, i got steroid cream for the rash while i was in the hospital, and after they were born i got prednisone pills.
