Lower back pain

in 2nd Trimester
I am almost at my wits end the back pain this weekend. I did everything I was told, ice, heat, 1000mg tylenol, rest etc and still today its horrible. Any one have any other advice as to how to ease the pain? =(

    I have tried everything as well. Nothing seems to work for me. It's so annoying. I've resorted to carrying around a stiff throw pillow to put behind me wherever I sit. It helps temporarily, but for the most part I'm in pain. I wish I could resolve the problem for both of us. Maybe someone will comment with a brilliant, successful idea! Good luck to the both of us.     I was too having lower back pain as well as sciatica pain and issues with my right arm going to sleep.  I started going back to the chiropractor and that has helped so much.  Plus he also checks the round ligaments to make sure they are doing what they should.  However, he left last Wednesday on a mission to Haiti and I have a horrible pain shooting down from my lower back to my right knee.  Sure hope he returns soon.

    I threw out my back a few years ago and this is sort of what it felt like. Im almost on the verge of tears and also hoping my dr can do something to help.

    I've heard that what can help is to try and strengthen your lower back muscles by exercising them. You can do this with a variety of arm exercises that will help later in pregnancy and after baby is born too. Best of luck to you!

    I am on week number 3 with sciatic down both legs and low back pain. I am hobbling around like I am 9 months prego and I am only 6 mo! I have battled sciatica for years now and it gets worse when I am prego. Everything was fine until out of no where I started with back pain and it has not gotten better. I told my OB about it and she suggested physical therapy. I called around and found a place near home and my insurance covers this......maybe check into that with your INS:) I hope it helps me cause I am at my wits end!
