Question about AF

Ok, so I had a very light period in November and December; barely anything at all.  My period kicked in full swing the last week in January; it was very heavy and lasted a week.  Then on February 9th it started again, very heavy and lasted until February 20th.  Well it just started AGAIN!!  Its probably light/medium this time.  Everyone keeps telling me to call the doctor but is there anything she can really do when I am still breastfeeding?  My son is 10 months old and I have cut back on 2 feeding/pumping sessions, could this be the reason why I am having such a crappy time with my period?  I am hoping this doesn't last all the way until I quit breastfeeding completely.  I could quit soon I have plenty frozen but I have anexity about quiting to soon because I worry about running out of frozen or some of it being bad.  Any insight on this would be great. Oh and I'm on the mini pill.

Also when did you start cows milk, did you switch right at 12 months and do straight cows milk or did you slowly mix some in with your breast milk.  Thanks.

    Oh and sorry I didn't introduce myself.  I lurk every week day at work but I hardly if ever post anything.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

    I don't have a lot of advice to offer, but I wanted to mention that AF came back for me when LO started going longer at night. Sad

    I also dont have much advice to offer as my DD is 9.5 months and still no AF for me.  I would suggest calling a LC to see what they say.  Try to get some help there without having to waste time with a doctors appointment if you can avoid it.

    I've had a light to medium flow for 5 weeks now, too!  It was my first AF since DD and it just keeps on coming.  People keep telling me to call the doctor and I think I'm about to give in and call.  I'm not sure they can do anything, but they might want to check for anemia.
