I've heard the name a few times, in the movie Summer Catch and on the reality show The Bachelor but DH and I are really in love with the name. I'm afraid its too weird. I knew I could get honest opinions here!
It sounds like the tenth baby and the parents are just so tired of picking names that they say, "Well, it's the tenth kid. Ten. And it's a girl, so let's add -ley. Tenley. Good enough."
I LOVE it! It was on our list but we went with another name - mainly because our 2 doggies are named Tazz and Tango. We thought another "T" name would sound funny even for a baby!

I really don't like it. Unfortunately my best friend will use it if she has a girl in a few months and I can't tell her I hate it. I wish she would come here.
Re: Thoughts on the name Tenley
Ew. Sorry, I hate it.

Trendy. All though not super popular, these *types* of names are a trend (Hadley, Kinley/Kenley, Brinley/Brylee, etc...)
But overall, it's pretty cute.

Dislike. It reminds me of Tetley tea.
Thank you! That's what I think of every time I see this name.
Another boy on the way!
