We're still on mid-winter break! Spring break is just 5 weeks away for us. So many darn vacation weeks!
anyway, I will be working for part of that week. I'll probably take Th/Fri off that week to have a nice long weekend and spend some time with the kids. I have passes to pump it up, so we'll use those. I may enroll DS in a spring break camp for 1-2 days so he's not too bored. I will take them to the gym so they can go swimming and make plans with friends to have play dates.
Possibly go swimming at the indoor swim center, go to Bounce U, library, shopping and lunch out, meet up with my sister and BIL for lunch (she's a teacher too), meet Daddy for lunch, get our Easter basket stuff ready, have playdates, play Harry Potter Lego for Wii together.
I love spring break because it's a break for me as well. There's never enough time to do the all the "nothing" we want to do. The week seems to fly by.
At the start of summer the girls and I took a poster board and wrote all the things we wanted to do on it -- things like "go to the zoo," "feed the ducks at the park" and "paint with our feet." Then as we did them we checked them off. The kids liked it so much we've done it for every break since but for the shorter breaks we use regular-sized paper!

I love this idea! I am also thinking of taking the kids to an indoor water park mid-week for 1 night with a friend. They have rooms that sleep 6, so 2 adults and 2 kids each will fit and we can split the cost.
Our spring break here starts on March 28th and we will be taking the kids to Disney for 2-3 days, (I am on Maternity leave as well so it was perfect timing). We also bought them a swing set so the days that they are home they will be swinging it up in the back yard.

Love that idea Dande!
Grandma is coming and that's exciting enough for mine!
I think it was actually something Yodajo posted last year.
