I had a 2nd tri loss in my early 20's with my then BF. We had names picked out for both a boy and a girl. We never found out what I was having by the time I naturally m/c'd, and didn't know enough at the time to have any testing done.
Fast forward and now that ex has had two boys, and he re-used the middle names we picked for our boy. It bothered me at the time, but not so much. However, his wife is now pg with a girl, and he is using the entire name we picked for our girl.
I'm not sure if my losses are playing a role, but it is bothering me more than I'd like.
Would this bother you?
P.S. This would be baby #7 with 4 different daddys. Ugh!
Re: Would this bother you?
Hm, I think it would. When you said he was just using the middle names I kind of thought it was nice, like in memory of your lost child with him, but it seems kind of weird to take the entire name.
Yep, I think that's weird. And not very orginal on his part.
Does the mom to be not have an opinion of her own on names? Guess if you're on baby 7 you might run out.
