XP: Brown spotting

If you ladies could spare some positive thoughts for me I need them.

I've already been feeling sort of, I don't know, not very positive about this pregnancy.  I can't describe it but it's more than being nervous, it's a really overwhelming feeling that something is wrong, even though we saw the heartbeat a few weeks ago.  Then this morning I had some brown discharge when I went to the bathroom.  I'm going to call the Dr. when they open at 9 and hopefully they will tell me to come right in like they always do. 

I know that brown spotting can be common and "normal" but I had it with my blighted ovum back in 2008 so it just brings back those awful memories, too.

Man I hate this. =(

    Ask for a U/S to ease your mind, mine never refused me that.   I'll be thinking of ya!  Keep us updated

    ((Hugs)) I'm sorry you're dealing with this. My ob always says that if it's brown it's old blood and not usually something to be concerned about it. I hope you get some peace of mind soon. Sending thoughts and prayers your way!

    Thanks ladies, everything looks fine.  LO was bouncing all around and has a  strong h/b.  Thanks for the positive thoughts!

    I am sorry you are going through this. I hope your spotting is nothing serious. I agree with PPs about requesting another u/s to ease your mind.  HUGS
