I am 14 weeks pregnant but I wanted to start picking names out so that would be one less thing on my mind. For a girl I like Olivia Rae and a boy Ayden Joseph but no one else seems to like the boy name I picked out and keeps telling me if I have a son he will probably be picked on. So anyone have any suggestions for a boys name that is not so popular?
xoxo thanks : )
Re: names for a boy?
With that y in there I absolutely agree that he will be made fun of. If you spell it correctly, there's no reason why anybody should make fun of him.
I think that Ayden is a good, solid name. I'm not going to discuss my name list with family & friends because everybody has an opinion and knows somebody ugly with those names.
Well, I am a fan of creative & unique names, so here are a few: Amos, Janson, Xzavier, Seamus, Van, Keenan, Quinton, Nigel, Reginald, Tripp, Sterling, Donavan, Deangelo, Constance, Demarcus, Daxton, Treyvon, Devonte, Tyree, Reon...to name a few.
My boy choices were:
Holden
Grayson
Arden
Oliver
I'm having a girl though.
I like Ayden, it's just WAY too common.
I also just don't like the odd spelling. "Aiden" is nice, "Ayden" looks like you just didn't know how to spell. Our little boy will be Alexander William and we'll call him 'Xander' it's a popular name but "Aiden" is far more trendy right now.
If we have another son for our second child we're considering "Benjamin" (except now MIL has said she'd call him 'Benji' so I'd have to discuss how I'd hate that before we'd actually use it).
I like the names on this posters list. I also agree that Ayden/Aiden is way too common as well. I also like Cooper and Tanner.
I love Rylan!
How cute!
Finnley (Finn), Brett, Britton, Porter, Noah, Reid, Grady, Tipton, Beckham, Bronson, Graham, Anderson, Harrison, Colin, Rowan.
