I woke up last night around 2 a.m. only to find myself feeling like the room was spinning and I had drunk too much alcohol. (which I hadn't, of course!) The dizziness has lasted all day. Any sudden movement, rolling over in bed, getting up suddenly, makes my head rock and ache. I know it's a normal pregnancy symptom, but boy I hadn't expected this to happen. Anyone know how to deal with it besides avoiding sudden movements and getting sleep? TIA!

Re: Dizziness?
Dizziness is definitely something that I experienced in this PG. I was reading one of my PG book from mayo clinic and it mentioned dizziness as a PG symptom also. It seems like most women with low BP get this symptom. My BP is usually on the low side: usually in 90s/50s.

Yo.
I've been having trouble with this. Especially when I stand up after sitting cross legged on the couch. This last time I literally had to just sit myself on the ground until I regained myself.
This is me too, same blood pressure as well.

I have had some dizzy spells for sure this pregnancy. For me, they attributed it to a) dips in already low BP, b) I have become a little anemic, and c) I have had bad rhinitis, so she said there was some fluid in my ears throwing off my equilibrium.
I would suggest letting your dr. know though for sure, as they may be able to solve it for you, depending on the underlying reason. But I hear that dizziness is a totally normal pg symptom.
Hey lady, where have you been? HOW have you been?
This has happened to me a few times as well. I actually have checked my blood sugar (we have the monitor since DH is diabetic) and it's not that -- so I assuming it's my blood pressure, which is always low (I run around 90-100/50 during the day when I am up and active).
