What comes to mind? Does it go with our other DD's name, Kate Annmarie?

I dislike Halle, but I love Jane. I feel that your DD's name is so classic that Halle is just way out in left field.

I love Hallie but I like it spelled that way, not Halle.

I think Hallie Jane is sweet and goes well with Kate.

I like it a lot. Personally I would spell it with an i like the pp said, but I think it goes well with your DD's name.

Wasn't there a show called Kate & Allie? I could be off but that's what I keep thinking when I say both names together. Halle is nms but I think it works well with Kate, although it is a little less mature sounding.

I think of another Bumpie that named her baby Halle Jane. Sadly, Halle's mother went into PTL and Halle was born too soon and is now an angel baby.

Halle's mother is now pregnant again and doing great! Here is her blog.

I think Kate has a more grown up and elegant feel to it, than Halle does.

But at the end of the day, if you like it, go for it!

As a combo, I think Halle Jane is adorable!

Halle Jane is adorable and I think it sounds great with your DD's name (although I did immediately think of 'Kate & Allie').

I do remember seeing that, now that you mention it. So sad.

I think it's odd that people would ask how to pronounce it. I thought Halle (HAL-EE) was a pretty straightforward name in regards to pronounciation. In my area at least, Hallie would be more likely to be pronounced HAIL-EE. I have thought about the Kate & Allie show, but it wasn't that popular of a show & doesn't matter to me in the long run. Halle is the only name DH and I both love, so we'll probably go with it. Thanks for the input!

I actually love Halle (maybe I just like names that are similar to mine). I think Halle Jane is charming, and it goes fine with big sister Kate.

ETA: I'm kind of surprised at how many people didn't know how to pronounce it. I think Halle Berry has made this spelling pretty much standard.
