I take it all back

...my post of potty training frustrations from last week, that is. Of course the day after I posted it she was right back on the wagon again and even better than before. In the last three days she has had zero accidents, she asks to go, doesn't need any coaxing or offering, and as for the pooing, her only stipulation is that I leave the room and she calls for me when she's finished. I guess she was just looking for some privacy. My jaw dropped when I was getting her bath stuff together tonight and she went into the bathroom herself, pulled down her pants, got out her stool and got on the potty herself. I guess her cold getting worse really did throw her off last week.

So I take back my vent. :)

  • I am sooo glad to hear you think the illness threw her off course.  B was almost there...  and then he got sick.  It derailed everything.  At this point I think he is still afraid of what happened to him last week (and quite frankly I don't blame him).  Anyway, I'm glad to hear things are back on track and I'm hoping we're there soon!

  • Yay! I'm so glad she's back on track. Isn't that funny, she just seemed to want her privacy. Sounds like she won't be one of those gals who uses the bathroom with her SO in the room when she gets older Wink

  • LOL - I just posted about not wanting to potty train above.  :)  It is good to know that some set-backs only last a few days.

I'm glad it's working out for you both!

  • Sometimes, all we need to do is vent. Funny how that works, huh? Wink
