not a sibset but Anna is my name. I would pronounce Juliana like Jew-lee-ah-nuh not Jew-lee-ann-uh! so would it be weird to have a daughter with a similar name as mine?
As a sibset, this would be awful, but for mother daughter, I see no problem whatsoever, especially because the pronunciations are different. I have a friend whose name is Deanna (Dee-ann-uh) and her daughter is Gianna (Gi-ah-nuh). I have never thought this was weird.
