Absolutely exhausted, but I bought a vacuum sealer this weekend and started making some freezer meals.
This weekend I made 2 lasagnas, 2 Chow Mein Casseroles, 3 ham strombolis, 3 calzones, 2 creamy enchiladas, and slow cooker french dip (that was for super tonight). Tomorrow I am making stuffed chicken shells, and Chicken Keiv (Lost steam today...)
Definitely feel I am starting to "nest" because my husband is currently job searching, so we might be moving right after the baby is born so we aren't planning on setting up the nursery till April because we don't know if we'd have to pack everything up again (crappy time to possibly be moving I know!)
Re: Bought a Vacuum Sealer & Started Freezer Meals
So cooking has become my way of "nesting" since I can't decorate yet :-(
sounds delish...
today I cleaned and made 24 breakfast burritos to freeze. that was enough nesting for today!
I got them off another nesties food blog.

they are the southwestern breakfast burritos. I use more eggs. super easy!!! she also has some awesome freezing tips...
btw do you love the vacuum sealer?
Aww lol I used this website for the Chicken Kiev and stuff chicken shells. Yeah I love this blog too!
As for the vacuum sealer, I tried to get cheaper one (Seal-a-meal at $50) but I am going to return it tomorrow and buy a Food Saver at $90.
Both my sister and mom have a food saver and they are AWESOME! You can seal up everything with these and can throw away your "chip clips".
Also, freezer meals I have used with my sisters Food Saver where still fresh 3 months after making them (I wouldn't leave them in the freezer much longer after that though, they start to get an "old" taste, but still not bad).
Same here. I wish we had a large freezer so that I could start making meals now!
