I swear, in the past 2 weeks or so I have turned into a bottomless pit. I have noticed a dramatic increase in my appetite, anyone else around 28ish weeks notice the same thing?? I'm trying to stick to the healthy stuff (fruits, veggies, lean proteins, whole grains, low fat dairy, etc) but sometimes it's tough! I've done so well on my weight gain so far...15 lbs at 26 weeks. With DS, I had gained 30 lbs by 28 weeks and ended up gaining 50 total- trying not to repeat that! Ugh...

Oh, this is good news...maybe the end of this voracious appetite is near. I remember not being able to eat as much towards the end with DS...hopefully this is just a temp thing.
Seriously, I'm hungry like every 2 hours. And not just for a snack/mini-meal! I can only eat so many clementines, apples, string cheese, nuts, rice cakes, etc!
yes and no. Somedays my stomach is always growling and others I am sick from an orange and sometimes it changes during the day. Yesterday, I was starved ALL day. Today, I am hungry but nothing too abnormal yet....
Me too! I found that if I eat oat meal in the morning it curbs the hunger until about 11am. But not the 'instant' kind, the actual kind you cook, or even the 'quick cook' kind.
Then of course I eat until I feel like I could puke, like a lot of the pp's have said. My stomach just feels squished against my lungs these days.
I am almost a carbon copy of your situation. I am at 15 pounds, and I swear today, I tried to snack, and I kept going back and back and back to the kitchen for a little more...
I'm trying to elect healthy snacks, and lower sugary stuff, but I'm STARVING!!!
After lunch (tomato and chicken pasta) I had 6 cut up strawberries, 2 fig newtons, cheese slices, handful of almonds and raisins, and TONS of water. Still hungry.
I was still begging DH to hurry home so I could cook dinner by 5:45. hah!
I finally this week decided that I love food again!! thank god.
Strawberries are my best friend!!! cantelope yum! carrots, pita chips, upped my water intake big time, sunny d, orange juice, spagetti, thin mints.. pineapple was good for a few days now it does nothing. Chocolate bread I got from the bakery the other day with nutella on it = heaven. raisinettes and goobers.
I have a dr's appt tuesday so we will see if I finally am gaining more. last appt I was only up 6 lbs but trust me I look like I swallowed a basketball.
This was me last week. By 10am, I was having my 3rd breakfast! But then again, I've also started puking again. Oye!
