Amazon Mom?

I am new to the site and just made a purchase (closet storage drawers and Diapers) using a $10 coupon and two 20% off coupons (from American Baby). I got a total savings of $18. When checking out I realized there was no tax. Is this the case all the time with Amazon Mom?

Any tips on using the service other than subscribing? It's all new to me. TIA!

Also, where can I check how long my Prime is good for and how much I need to purchase to be sure that it stays active?

    I dont think I've ever been charged tax.  You pretty much did it all right, and got the best savings you can.  I've heard you can only use one $10 coupon per account, but you can use more than one 20% even though it says you can't.

    To check your subscription info click on "my account" then scroll down to "setting" and click on "manage prime membership"

    thanks! I was sceptical because the coupon said on it that you could only use one but since I had two I figured it was worth the try.

    I went to the manage prime and it says that every addtl $25 is an added month. I wonder if transactions could accumulate to reach that $25 or does it have to be a single transaction? The only reason I ask is because my purchase was $23 so I am wondering if my next one will add to that to give me that extra month.

    I read in a previous post, or a blog somewhere, that the $25 to get the free shipping is the price before all the discounts. So your $23, I'm assuming, was more than $25 and you should get the free shipping for another month or whatever it is!

    Yes, your total needs to be $25 before discounts to earn extra months.  You can earn up to an extra year by making $25 purchases.  This is very easy to do if you keep buying your diapers there.  DS isn't even born yet and I've ordered diapers 3 times with a 20% coupon and earned 3 months already.  I just discovered the other day that you could stack certain 20% coupons.  i'll remember that for next time though!

    oh yeah, and it has to be $25 in one transaction.  But remember its 25 total before discounts for it to count.  Most diapers are over $25 so its not hard to do.

    Woo. That's awesome. It was almost $50 I believe before the discounts. Plus I made a $30 purchase the other day on my Amazon acct before joining Amazon Mom that is showing as pending right under today's purchase becasue it hasn't been sent out yet. Maybe they will give me credit for that one too. This is pretty cool. lol.

    I just bought pampers for LO for just .06 each $10.98 for a case of 184. So awesome! I stacked 2 20% coupons and clicked for a $2 coupon on there site! I love Amazon and am so happy I discovered Amazon Mom!!

    for diapers. You can find them in American Baby which is a free subscription, Parents Mag and some other parenting Mags.
