Are you kidding me??(vent)

So, I have never had an ingrown hair before in my life...until now and I must say it is so friggin painful and in the worst spot ever....right under my belly(which means I cannot see it) and my belly band and or pants keep rubbing it and I wanna cry it hurts so bad. So I try to have my mom see if she could see the hair to pull it out...she obviously didnt listen to my instructions and tried to pop it like a zit...which almost sent me thru the roof (the whole reason I didn't want DH to help afraid he would be to rough)...ugh

Re: Are you kidding me??(vent)

  • That sucks. Try to treat it like a zit though, put zit cream on it and dry it out, then the hair might work it's way out. I'm sorry.

  • yeah... it's awful! Try a little rubbing alcohol on it. That's what helps me.
  • I hate them too but honestly the best thing is to just get a pair of tweezers and force thru your skin just enough to get part of the hair and pull it out!!!  even use a needle to work the hair thru...

would not use acne cream (pimple cream) due to some you are not supposed to be using right now.

  • My sugar practitioner always tells me "exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate!"  Maybe you can try that for a couple days. And I agree with PP, you need to work the hair out and pull it out.

  • Use a pin and pop it then work the hair out.  I had an ingrown hair once get so bad a surgeon had to cut it out (the infection just kept getting bigger and bigger).  That was gross and embarassing.      Good luck to you.
